Welcome to the city by the Bay and the home of the San Francisco Alumnae Chapter (SFAC) of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., where we are dedicated to empowering the sisterhood and the Black community through positive action and service as we conduct the business of Delta.
SFAC was chartered on March 27, 1948, 58 years ago, by eight dedicated and faithful Sorors for the purpose of fostering the ideals and principles established by the 22 Founders of our glorious sisterhood. These eight distinguished women united to plan and implement programs to address the unique needs of San Francisco and Marin counties.
In keeping with Delta Sigma Theta's National and International Five Point Programmatic Thrust, SFAC continues to implement activities that impact our communities internally and externally. We are dedicated and committed to working in the communities we serve to fulfill Delta’s mission at the local, regional and national level. Our Five Point Programmatic Thrust:
